Practice Fees

This is a mixed billing General Practice. The list of standard fees is on the practice reception counter and door. Our private fees are set below the AMA recommended rate. Our accounts need to be settled at the time of consultations. Our practice accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard or Debit Card.

 

Please Note: A lost referral will incur a $10 fee.

 

Non attendance policy and fee: A minimum of 3 hours is required to cancel a booked appointment, otherwise a non medicare rebate-able fee of $40 +GST applies to rebook another appointment.

In surgery consultations fees

Bulk billing for consultation is available for those 15 years old and under. Fees apply to all other patients. In surgery consultation, gap fee is approximately $41 (except for Mental Health care plan/consultation)

Telehealth consultation fees

Please note the telehealth service can only be provided where the patient has face to face consult within the last 12 months with the doctor who performs the service located at a medical practice and the patient has face to face consult with that practice within the last 12 months.

An exception applies to those under 1 year of age, tested positive for covid 19, or experiencing homelessness.

Please Note: Medicare does not remunerate the practice for wound dressing supplies. The practice cannot absorb the cost of these dressings if we are to continue to provide this as part of our quality health care service).

Repairs of wounds and removal of the foreign body start at a GAP PAYMENT of $75 in addition to your consultation fee.

Skin excision attracts a fee -Your doctor will advise you of the fee prior to proceeding with any procedure.

The following fees apply to all patients and are IN ADDITION to your consultation fee. Other procedures not listed -will be advised by your doctor

Continuation of Opioid Management Plan by External Providers.

The General Practitioners at Coast to Coast Medical Centre will not provide drugs of dependence until evidence of clinical need is established.
